OnSUMMER BY THE RIVER: CORNFLAKES AND HAY
London Bridge City are proud to be partnering with THE HERDS: public art meets climate action on a vast scale.
Herds of life-size puppet animals are invading city centres from Central Africa to Europe in a vast piece of public art and climate action and you can join THE HERDS on their journey at The Scoop.
A chorus of 100 children from local primary schools and an ensemble of children aged 0 - 13 will call to the animals and ‘feed’ them breakfast.
The performance is created by the Unicorn’s Artistic Director Rachel Bagshaw with award-winning author Piers Torday and composer YolanDa Brown with input from the children themselves.
In partnership with Unicorn Theatre, London Bridge City, Potters Fields Park, St. JOHN and Bridge Theatre.
THE HERDS is public art and climate action on a vast scale – an ambitious coming together of culture and climate to inspire action and reignite our connection with the natural world.
