SUMMER BY THE RIVER: LAUNCH NIGHT

Join us for an unforgettable launch night as we kick off Summer by the River 2025. This special evening will set the tone for three months of cultural celebration across the arts, featuring a stellar line-up of performers and some surprise acts throughout the night.

Bringing the carnival spirit are UDM Samba, a high-energy samba and dance group made up of young performers from across London. Expect vibrant costumes, pulsing rhythms, and an explosion of colour and movement inspired by the streets of Rio.

Also taking the stage is Gina Larner, a Brighton-based singer-songwriter blending Americana and pop-rock with sharp, honest lyrics. With recent support slots for KT Tunstall and Simply Red, and radio play on BBC Radio 2, Gina is one of the UK’s most exciting rising talents.

Headliner The Faithettes, one of the UK’s most in-demand live bands, will bring the night to a close with a bang. Originally formed as Paloma Faith’s touring ensemble, they now deliver their own powerhouse show of pop and soul hits, packed with slick arrangements, charisma, and festival-ready energy.
